OpenGL Implementation Adapter is a supercharged cross-platform OpenGL ES 2.0 implementation with extended support for the unterlying native platforms.
Modern APIs like Vulkan, Metal and WebGPU offer flexibility and performance, however require features absent on many older GPUs and embedded devices like the Raspberry Pi family. At this level there is no alternative to OpenGL ES 2.0, which is supported on most devices of the last decades as the minimal common ground of modern programmable graphics.
