feed2urls

A simple Rust program to extract URLs from RSS or Atom feeds.

Typically, RSS feed items and Atom feed entries have associated URLs. feed2urls reads a feed from standard input and writes these URLs to standard output.

feed2urls is very simple (less than 150 lines of code) and only depends on the roxmltree crate. I wrote it to be used in conjunction with futter.

Usage

For example, to extract URLs from a feed file:

cat some-feed.xml | feed2urls

If an item/entry does not have a URL, feed2urls will skip it and print a warning to standard error.
